Seeking peace with God?
Do you know that some types of conduct are offensive to God? God calls these behaviors sin, and He says that we are sinners. What types of behavior do you think He considers to be sin?

Here are a few examples of what God considers to be sin,
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing . . . (NASB) Gal. 5:19-21
Have you ever become angry, been envious, argued, or had an immoral thought? Clearly, such sins are common among us. As a result, God has declared that each one of us is a sinner when He says,
. . . for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . . . (NASB) Rom. 3:23
If you believe that you have never sinned, God says that you have deceived yourself,
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (NASB) 1 John 1:8
The truth is that each one of us has sinned and consequently, God says that we deserve spiritually die.
For the wages of sin is death . . . (NASB) Rom. 6:23a
The Rescuer - As a result of our terrible situation - our approaching spiritual death, God was born in human flesh (Phil. 2:5-8; Heb. 15-16). His name was Jesus Christ. Jesus was both God and man. He lived a sinless life (Heb. 4:15). He did not commit any sin because He is our holy God. Yet, He was able to suffer and die a physical death because He took on human flesh.
For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. Romans 5:7-9

His physical death satisfied the demands of our holy God that someone die because we have sinned. Jesus Christ did that for each one of us. During His death He suffered for our sins, and now God we can declare us to be holy or sinless, even though we still sin in this life.
. . . and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross . . . for by His wounds you were healed. (NASB) 1 Pet. 2:24
He returned to life three days after His physical death as predicted by the prophets and the scriptures.
For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. (NASB) 1 Cor. 15:3-4
Believe In Jesus - Each one of us can escape the spiritual death that we deserve if we will just believe in Jesus Christ and trust Him to forgive our sins.
But the Scripture has shut up all men under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. (NASB) Gal. 3:22
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NASB) Rom. 6:23
Do you believe that Jesus is God and died to forgive your sins? Do you believe that He returned to life three days later just as the ancient prophets predicted? Do you want your sins forgiven? Do you want to be at peace with God and to escape spiritual death?

Peace With God - You can have peace with God and spend eternity with God by just believing that Jesus has died for you and then trust Him to do that. You do not have to do anything else.
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (NASB) John 3:16
If you would believe that Jesus can forgive your sins and are willing to let Him take control of your life, then we would encourage you to say the following prayer,
Dear Jesus, I believe that you are God. I believe that you died for my sins and returned to life three days later. I believe that you returned to heaven and can forgive my sins. Please forgive me and make me white as snow – sinless and holy. Thank you for forgiving and giving me eternal life.
If you have prayed this prayer, please call us or send us an email. We would be glad to talk with you about your decision.
