From The Pastor . . .

A few years ago I was a guest speaker at a church and someone asked, "Isn't there something more to the Christian life?" Her spiritual life was empty and she was disillusioned. She is not alone. Does your worship seem to be the same each Sunday, and do the messages from the Bible seem to be old and familiar? Is there something missing in your relationship with God?

If your heart's desire is to really know God, then come and worship with us. The prophet Jeremiah recorded this statement from God,

Thus says the LORD, “Let not a wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not a rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me . . . (NASB) Jer. 9:23-24

Jesus said in John 5:39 that the scriptures speak of Himself. There is more to the scriptures than encouragement in living the Christian life. There is Jesus! Discovering God afresh is wonderful. Therefore, we are committed to teaching the entire Bible book-by-book, verse-by-verse as we search to know more about Him.

We are committed to loving and caring for one another and encouraging each other in the faith. Love and truth go together. Come and worship God with us on Sundays at 10:00 AM. I look forward to meeting you.

Join Us After The Service

After the morning service, we spend some time together over refreshments. It is an opportunity to express our love for each other, and get to know better those we do not know very well.

As the pastor-teacher, I would welcome the privilege of talking with you for a few minutes.

May God bless you richly,

- John Calahan, pastor-teacher
